okay.well am a younq musician and i really love music.I've been a drummer for about 5 years now but i've really been into the keys lately.I've been playing around for about a year but i've noticed i havent really gone far from when i started.so i want to know how can i get better.am not trying to get shortcuts because i kno am qoin to have to go through frustation nd stuff but i'll do what ever it takes because am really commited and i have a passion..so can someone HELP ME!!!!!!!am a young musician struggling. |

Hey, I right there with you. I have played drums for a couple of years for my church too. I fooled around with the keys a little but and I knew alot but I never really practiced that. When our lead musician left, I was the only one who could step in so I had to go through the struggles of relearning songs and learning new songs. MASTER YOUR SCALES! I am a self taught pianist and that really helped me. I can be a struggle somtimes but like tommy d said, you have to pray and practice. Keep in contact :)
pray, then practice daily at least an hour, try your hardest to fight through the frustration that can come with the learning process, keep coming to this site to learn Jamal created this site to help musicians on all levels
